A dental implant is a small, bio-compatible titanium post that serves as a replacement for the root of a missing tooth. Once placed in your jawbone, it fuses with the bone over a few months (a process called osseointegration). A custom-made porcelain crown is then attached to the implant, providing a highly durable, natural-looking, and permanent tooth replacement.
